Ginger crunch protein bliss balls... a sweet treat!

Bliss balls have always been one of my favourite snacks, I remember sitting in the kitchen last week looking through recipe books trying my bets to come up with new flavours to try, I always resort to apricot chocolate chip. But today I needed something different, iv'e been craving ginger a lot lately so ginger crunch it was! With added extra protein you can not go wrong with this sweet treat!

Ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon of ginger powder 
  • 1 cup of rolled oats 
  • 1/2 cup of softened chopped dates (soaked and drained from hot water)
  • 1/4 cup of dried ginger pieces chopped small 
  • 2 scoops of Prana plant based protein powder (I used vanilla, and purchased from Health 2000)
  • 1/2 cup of cashews (can also use almonds) 
  • 1 tablespoon of chia seeds 

Method: 

  •  Whip all of the ingredients above into a high speed blender until the mixture sticks together
  • Roll into small balls I use two per snack
